~Fade in from black. You all know
this opening to well to have any doubt in your mind of who's standing before you. So let's cut to the chase and listen
to what The King of Harts has to say~
Owen: "Another week ends, and even after my actions against
the DWI champion, the brass decides that I still need to be a part of the tag team title match this weekend. I don't
know whether I should be flattered, or insulted. And when in doubt, I usually choose the latter. So right now,
I feel very insulted that I have to be in a tag match that is beneath me! Not only that, but it's in a match with Rick
Rude, Dick Dudely, and my own flesh and blood. You pit me, one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, in the ring with
likes of these people? The only possible explanation has got to be, that the DWI needed someone who possesses enough
talent to make this match something worth watching. So in that respect, at least someone's got their head on straight
in back. But just because I'm willing to show up to this match, doesn't mean a thing."
Owen: "It doesn't mean a thing, because
I still have recieved an apology from my father. And it still doesn't mean a thing, because I'm not after the DWI tag
team titles. I'm not looking to share in the spoils of my hard work with anybody. Hence why I'm throwing my name
in the hat as a contender to the DWI title. But in the mean time, I suppose gold is gold, and I'll take it where I can
get it."
Owen: "And if the tag team division is where
I can get the gold, than you better believe I'm going to do everything in my power to take it. The Harts against Two
Big Dicks? Yeah ok, whatever. Ravishing Rick Rude, Big Dick Dudely, I suggest you keep a few things in mine.
One, I have no intention of letting either of you walk out of that ring, unless it's on crutches. Two, I have no intention
of letting you two walk out of that ring with the DWI tag team titles. And three, well... before the night is over,
you both are going to feel the agonizing pain of the sharpshooter. I'm going to make you both tapout, and when I do,
it's going to be The King of Harts, who wins the DWI tag team titles. It's going to be me! Who claims the top
spot in the tag team division. Both of you, and my father are going to be little side notes, and nothing more.
And once I become the DWI tag team champion, it will become a solid fact that I AM: The Best There Is, The Best There Was,
& The Best There Ever Will Be, when people talk about the tag teams of the DWI. But more importantly, when I win
this saturday, it will elevate me to a higher status, it will push me to better opprotunities, and than, Big John Studd, you'll
get a real challenge for the DWI title. But for now... I'll bide my time, and this weekend, I'll become the new DWI
tag team champion."
